As a member of the Cubbit team, you will help to design, develop and maintain performant and scalable products used by our business customers; you'll deep dive into challenging and exciting brainstorming and pair-programming sessions with your teammates and, most importantly, you'll be part of the future of the cloud .
What you’ll do
Work on existing and new products by developing software , of course
Review other teammates’ code and constructively discuss about changes
Transform technical requirements into tasks to be worked on
Analyze application’s tracing to spot bottlenecks and issues
What you’ll need
~5+ years of experience in a backend development role
~ Strong knowledge of Go (Golang) programming
~ Understanding of cloud services
~ Experience with Git
~ Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (sockets, APIs)
~ Experience with AI-based and agentic development tools
~ Experience with Linux operating systems
~ Experience with Distributed Systems

Past experience in startup and/or similar industry
Past experiences with network file systems (NFS/SMB)
Past experience in remote working with agile methodology
Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, Kubernetes operator
Familiarity with Grafana, OpenTelemetry, application tracing
Compensation:
~ Base salary €45,000, up to €65,000, depending on your experience, technical expertise, and overall fit for the role. In addition, you'll be eligible to participate in our Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP).
