Overview

As a Continuous Improvement Engineering Specialist, you will bridge global design, manufacturing, and project management to drive process change from concept to end-of-life. You optimize engineering productivity by supporting NPDI, VAVE, and Sustaining teams, ensuring high-quality, first-time-right execution. You collaborate with international R&D and manufacturing groups to standardize methods and reduce regional variability. This role offers the chance to influence cross-functional workflows, performance reporting, and resource planning in a global setting.

Responsabilità

- Own improvement process identification, execution, and implementation; enable adoption by engineering teams
- Lead Lessons Learned, root cause analysis, and quality reviews after projects
- Serve as operational contact for NPDI, VAVE, and Sustaining teams to ensure workflow adherence
- Act as global liaison to ensure SOPs and technical methods are consistently applied
- Collect feedback from regional groups and propose practical process adjustments




- Generate weekly/monthly status reports focused on engineering efficiency and process adherence
- Assist PMOs with resource planning by tracking capacity and utilization across active projects

Requisiti fondamentali

- Strong understanding of NPDI and its intersection with manufacturing (VAVE/Sustaining)
- Analytical and communicative; able to manage complex, multi-stakeholder projects
- Collaborative, problem-solving mindset with process-adherence discipline
- Self-starter with motivation and ability to drive change
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Customer-oriented with written and spoken English
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering
- 2–5 years of role-equivalent experience in a global, cross-functional environment
- Engineering/manufacturing experience in the power business preferred
- Willingness to travel
