pbThe Client /b(undisclosed) /ppOur Client is ab multinational chemical-pharmaceutical company /bwith international footprint, currently undergoing an importantb phase of growth and transformation. /b /ppWithin this context, bFinance /b is playing an increasingly bstrategic role /b in supporting the business, with a strong focus on bperformance management, operational excellence and value creation. /b /ppbr/ppThey are now looking for a bCorporate Industrial Controller /b to strengthen their Controlling organization and contribute to the evolution of its controlling model. /ppbr/ppbPosition – The role: /b /ppReporting to the bGroup Industrial Controlling Director /b, the Corporate Industrial Controller will operate within a broad and international scope, covering the whole industrial value chain across bManufacturing, Procurement and Supply Chain /b. /ppThe key dimensions of the role will be: /pullibIndustrial Controlling /b: manage and further strengthen the core Industrial Controlling activities, ensuring a solid understanding of industrial performance, product costs and profitability, and the overall analytics promptness of a sophisticated, regulated business. /lilibTransformationProjects /b: contribute to the implementation and continuous improvement of the bnew Industrial Controlling model /b, combining recurring responsibilities with a significant bproject and transformation component /b. /lilibBusiness Partnership /b: work closely with all relevant stakeholders within Finance and across Manufacturing, Procurement and Supply Chain, and develop arguments in front of Executives to sustain how financial and operational information are translated into compelling insights to support business decisions. The candidate will also play an active role in promoting a culture of efficiency across the organization, with the goal to maximize the value creation of the initiatives carried out in the industrial division. /lilibDevelopment Path /b: grow within a role designed from the outset around a broad scope and a clear development path, with increasing responsibilities over time. /li /ulpbr/ppbKey Objectives and Responsibilities /b /pulliGain trust within the organization at all levels and establish solid relationships within Corporate functions and stakeholders, becoming a credible Business Partner to the organization.
/liliLead the implementation of the bnew Industrial Controlling Model /b, with particular focus on bProduct Costs, Capex and Inventory /b, supporting the related process redesign. Contribute to the bSOP process /b, strengthening the connection between Supply Chain and Finance /liliPlay an active role in the evolution of the bSAP environment and controlling model /b, including: bMaterial Ledger implementation /bon one side, aimed at developing a consistent financial and industrial data model and enhancing profitability analysis across the value chain; and bPlant efficiency project streams /b on the other, through bPMO /b initiatives related to bcost deployment, plant efficiency, capacity utilization and decomplexity /b /liliEnhance the bcurrent Controlling / Reporting Model /b to enable quicker and effective analysis of industrial performance. Manage bBudget, Forecast and Planning /b activities and cadence for the relevant perimeter, identifying trends and challenging figures, and assumptions when appropriate Develop financial evaluations and Business Cases, including Capex investments and Make vs Buy analyses /liliProvide both Finance and Business stakeholders the information required to increase awareness, sustained by robust analytics, and identify actions to improve PL and cash flow performance /liliSupport the deployment of Industrial Controlling bbest practices /b across the organization and the progressive bautomation of processes and reporting. /b /li /ulpbr/ppbRequirements (“Must have”): /b /ppbHard Skills /b /pulliDegree in bEconomics, Business Administration or Engineering /b /liliApproximately b8 - 10 years /b of professional experience, with a solid track record in bIndustrial / Manufacturing Controlling /b, preferably gained within structured performance-driven organizations /liliGood understanding of manufacturing processes and their main operational and financial value drivers,
to sustain business judgement /liliExecution leadership rooted on strong knowledge of bproduct costing, cost accounting, industrial performance management, inventory and Capex controlling. /bAdditional knowledge of Procurement and Supply Chain would be nice to have /liliSolid trackrecord in Budget, Forecast, Planning and variance analysis /liliStrong hands-on capability in managing complexity: a significant amount of data in parallel with developing financial models /liliExperience in btransformation /b benvironments /b and/or in the implementation or redesign of brand new controlling models would represent a plus /liliGood knowledge of bERP systems /b, with direct exposure to SAP /liliFamiliarity with bBI /b/ Performance management tools /li /ulpbr/ppbSoft Skills /b /ppThe combination of bstrong accountability, technical skills /b and a genuine bbusiness partnering mindset /b will be key for success. /pulliAnalytical and rigorous, while able to understand the business implications behind the numbers /liliHands-on and detail-oriented, while maintaining an overall business perspective /liliProactive and curious, with the ability to identify opportunities, propose solutions and challenge existing approaches /liliComfortable working in a bchanging and transformational environment /b /li /ulpbr/ppOn the people side, able to binteract effectively /b within the Finance Function, as well as with other internal stakeholders across Operations, Procurement and Supply Chain /pulliCollaborative, pragmatic and oriented towards results, and continuous improvement /liliResilient under pressure and deadlines /liliComfortable taking initiative and actively contributing to the design of new processes and solutions /li /ulpbr/pullibFluency /b in bEnglish /b is a must /lilibLocation: /bNorth of Italy /li /ulpbr/ppbJob /b: This is a permanent full-time job in a highly dynamic context. /ppInitial Salary range will be in between EUR 70.000 – 80.000, plus Premio and Benefits, in line with Client commitment to transparent and equitable compensation practices.
