Overview

In this role you design, analyze and troubleshoot embedded firmware for control hardware, guiding the firmware lifecycle from testing to documentation. You collaborate with hardware, software, and support teams to ensure robust product performance and field reliability. You define test plans and contribute to technical reviews, shaping how our embedded systems meet customer needs. Responsabilità

- Design, analyze and troubleshoot firmware for allocated functions
- Provide firmware test specifications and support during product life
- Collaborate with tech-support and engineering to solve field issues
- Define product specifications in cooperation with other functions and produce technical documentation




- Support testing teams in test plan development and result reviews
- Create documentation aligned with process requirements (drawings, component specifications)
- Motivate and ensure clear information flow within the team

Requisiti fondamentali

- Excellent planning and communication skills
- Good knowledge of C/C++, version control systems, and DSP architecture (TI oriented preferred)
- University degree or technical diploma in Software Engineering or equivalent
- Experience in UPS, power converter or low voltage electrical distribution is a plus
- Good knowledge of PLM and related processes
- Team player with customer orientation and willingness to travel
- Good English language knowledge
