Overview

As the Monfacone Site Health and Safety Manager, you will define and update site safety rules in alignment with Westinghouse direction and Italian law. You will lead a small team of safety engineers and drive ongoing safety awareness among supervisors and plant staff. You will act as the central link between the site and corporate safety functions, ensuring compliance and effective emergency procedures. This role blends on-site leadership with regulatory and contractual oversight, offering a meaningful chance to shape safety culture at the Monfalcone site.

Responsabilità

- Lead and develop the team of safety engineers to ensure rules are clear, understood, and updated
- Perform daily shop walkdowns to verify rule adherence
- Guide on-site leaders and managers on safety rules




- Collect and coordinate safety improvement suggestions from workers and supervisors
- Serve as the site’s connection point to corporate health and safety functions
- Represent the Italian legal entity before authorities
- Review investments and contracts for procedural compliance
- Maintain emergency and safety procedures and ensure training
- Coordinate appointment processes for safety-related or emergency situations

Requisiti fondamentali

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, or related field
- 8+ years of operations, RSPP, and safety experience in workshops
- Experience leading safety programs
- Execution leadership experience
- Cross-functional coordination
- Intermediate English competency (B1)
