Overview

In this role you will lead property risk surveys and loss control activities to support insureds and Allianz partners. You will assess operations, exposures, and control adequacy, delivering high-quality risk views and actionable recommendations. You’ll work closely with underwriters, claims, and technical teams to improve overall risk quality and drive better loss outcomes. The position combines field surveys, technical risk management, and client engagement within Allianz Risk Consulting’s multidisciplinary environment. You will apply NFPA guidelines and bring engineering judgment to shape risk mitigation at scale, often with travel.

Responsabilità

- Conduct surveys to assess operations, exposures, control adequacy, and required improvements
- Provide loss control expertise to customers and partners and deliver value at every touchpoint
- Collaborate with underwriters, loss control, claims and other business partners to strengthen client relationships
- Deliver concise, high-quality risk assessments,



including loss expectancies, risk grading, and recommendations
- Develop technically based risk management recommendations and integrate AI-driven insights where applicable
- Apply NFPA guidelines, codes, and local safety standards
- Support business travel to client sites as needed

Requisiti fondamentali

- Minimum 5 years’ experience in engineering/loss prevention surveys
- Technical expertise in property exposure identification and control adequacy
- Bachelor in Science, Safety, Fire Protection, Engineering, or related discipline (preferred)
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills in Italian; working knowledge of English
- Business acumen and ability to build client partnerships
- Team-player mindset and commitment to lifelong learning
- Ability to integrate AI-driven insights to optimize outcomes and align with organizational goals
