Overview
In this role you lead the design and development of power converters within a cross-disciplinary team. You will drive end-to-end development, from simulation and validation to hardware/software testing, and optimize for efficiency and reliability. You’ll collaborate with engineers and suppliers to define requirements and ensure feasible, integrated solutions. The work blends innovation with practical engineering to shape scalable power electronics for low-voltage DC applications.

Responsabilità
- Lead end-to-end design and development of power converters, including hardware/software validation and testing
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and suppliers to define technical requirements and integration feasibility
- Conduct hands-on testing, build models/prototypes, analyze performance data, and optimize designs
- Drive technological innovation by staying current with industry trends and contributing to strategic direction
- Design and optimize low-voltage DC power converter architectures, including topology selection, thermal/electrical simulations, and validation using MATLAB, LTspice, PLECS and Ansys
Requisiti fondamentali
- 5+ years of power electronics development experience (simulation, prototyping, testing)
- Proficiency in power conversion topologies and semiconductor technologies (modules and discrete)
- Strong experience with LTspice, PLECS, Simulink, Ansys, Maxwell, Icepak, Fluent
- Proficiency in MATLAB, Python (NumPy), MathCAD, and PCB design (Altium Designer)
- Hands-on lab testing with oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and diagnostic equipment
