Overview

In this role, you will build strong client relationships across Italy, delivering technical value through the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform. You act as a trusted advisor on architecture, design, and implementation to drive successful adoption and showcase best practices. You’ll scale impact by authoring reference architectures and leading regional workshops and meet-ups to grow the Databricks community. This position blends hands-on analytics with customer-focused sales engagement to help clients turn data into action, within a collaborative, innovative team.

Responsabilità

- Develop and sustain client relationships across Italy, delivering technical and business value
- Serve as an expert in big data analytics to excite and influence customers
- Evolve into a trusted adviser on architecture, design, and implementation for platform adoption
- Create and share reference architectures, how-tos, and demo applications; lead regional workshops and meetups
- Grow knowledge to technical/industry specialist level
- Engage in technical sales, guiding outcomes and communicating value propositions




- Build internal partnerships with account executives and teams
- Possess coding experience in Python/Java/Scala and willingness to learn Spark
- Demonstrate proficiency with Big Data Analytics technologies and complex PoCs across public clouds
- Perform use-case discovery, scoping, and deliver multi-audience solution architecture designs

Requisiti fondamentali

- Coding experience in Python, Java, or Scala; willingness to learn Spark
- Proficiency with Big Data Analytics technologies and hands-on PoCs
- Experience with complex solution architecture designs for diverse audiences
- Ability to work across levels of technical depth and switch context
- Travel up to 30% for meetings, events, and trainings
- Business proficiency in Italian and English
