- Own marketplace strategy and management across third-party marketplaces and DTC channels

- Manage marketplace partner relationships and define merchandising, marketing campaign and operational strategies

- Lead launches of new platforms and markets from business-plan development through integration and go-live

- Drive business development for new opportunity areas, initiatives, platforms and partners

- Monitor channel performance using sales, conversion, traffic, pricing, promotions and stock-availability KPIs

- Manage budgeting and forecasting with regions and client stakeholders

- Collaborate with marketing, CRM, customer service, logistics and technology teams across the omnichannel customer journey

- Contribute to channel development plans, marketplace expansion and international rollouts

- Support catalogue, pricing, promotional and content optimisation across digital channels

- Apply advanced analytics, data science techniques, data-driven tools and AI-enabled solutions to operational and strategic decisions

- Prepare analyses, presentations and insights for clients and internal stakeholders

Requirements

- 3–5 years of experience in marketplace management, e-commerce or channel management roles

- Proven experience managing international marketplace platforms such as Amazon, Zalando, Farfetch or similar

- Experience managing marketplace partner relationships

- Solid understanding of digital commerce dynamics and key e-commerce performance metrics

- Ability to manage multiple activities and priorities in parallel

- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

- Strong analytical and data science mindset

- Confidence in data crunching and statistical analysis

- Ability to extract actionable insights from complex datasets

- Experience with budgeting,



forecasting and performance reporting

- Strong interest in digital commerce, omnichannel models and applying artificial intelligence to business

- Excellent communication skills in both Italian and English

- Based in Bologna or willing to relocate

- Flexibility for hybrid working

- Advanced degree in Marketing, Business or a related field is valued experience, not required

- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms, OMS, PIM, web analytics and business intelligence tools

- Experience with Google Analytics, Power BI, Qlik or similar tools

- Experience with Python, pandas, numpy, SQL, advanced Excel functions or other data science frameworks

- International experience or cross-country collaboration
