Overview

In this role you will lead hands-on testing for Digital & Transaction Processing within Merchant Acquisition and Payment projects. You will mentor a distributed QA team, set test strategy, and coordinate with senior stakeholders to ensure quality across programs. You’ll work across the payments lifecycle to certify business capabilities and drive metrics-driven testing. This is a high-impact opportunity within Fiserv’s global payments platform, offering influence on delivery quality and processes.

Responsabilità

- Plan, deploy and manage testing for multiple projects/programs simultaneously
- Coordinate testing across multiple applications with project leads
- Define and communicate testing scope to certify business capabilities
- Participate in Business Requirements and Detailed Design sessions
- Define overall project test strategy and oversee execution with teams
- Mentor distributed testers (permanent and supplier)
- Support multiple Scrum teams with estimation, planning and testing strategy
- Manage all QA phases: test planning, design, execution, closure
- Uphold QA best practices and quality standards within QEA GBS




- Lead defect triage and maintain updated regression and smoke test packs
- Coordinate test environments and ensure data quality and consistency
- Support QMO metrics collection and reporting; drive quality through data
- Ensure change management for testing scope changes
- Monitor and report testing budget vs actuals; manage risk and issues mitigation
- Enforce Quality Stage Gates and acceptance criteria

Requisiti fondamentali

- 15-18 years of experience
- Domain expertise in Cards and Payments including Merchant Acquiring
- Fluency in Italian and English
- Proven defect management track record
- Strong knowledge of structured test methods and delivery (waterfall and agile)
- Experience in manual and automated testing and automation framework definition
- Ability to manage SIT/NFT and support UAT
- Ability to provide direction amid project chaos
