Overview

In this role, you will establish and maintain technical standards for plastic materials and processes, driving cost-efficient and sustainable solutions. You will design plastic parts, validate performance, and collaborate with R&D, Quality and Production to ensure feasibility and compliance. You’ll evaluate new technologies and lead documentation and training efforts to raise technical excellence. This position supports Technogym's mission by advancing innovative plastic engineering for scalable, high-quality products.

Responsabilità

- Define and maintain technical standards for materials, processes and systems
- Manage technical documentation and internal training programs
- Evaluate emerging technologies and update standards accordingly
- Design and develop plastic parts and assemblies
- Select materials and manufacturing processes (injection molding, extrusion, thermoforming)
- Collaborate with R&D;, Quality, Production for feasibility,



compliance and alignment with standards
- Conduct testing and validation of plastic components for performance and safety
- Drive continuous improvement of processes and material performance

Requisiti fondamentali

- Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering (or related field)
- Proven experience in plastic technology and manufacturing processes
- Good knowledge of CAD software and simulation tools
- Familiarity with international standards and regulations for plastic components
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Experience with sustainable materials and recycling technologies
- Knowledge of mold design and tooling
- Project management capabilities
