Overview

In this role you will drive the implementation of procurement strategy for Professional and HR services, collaborating with category teams and stakeholders. You will manage supplier relationships, run sourcing events, and optimize cost and processes to support ABB’s global objectives. The role combines strategic sourcing with hands-on execution, emphasizing negotiation, contract terms, and supplier performance. You will join a cross-functional, international procurement team focused on delivering value and compliance at scale.

Responsabilità

- Implement procurement strategy in coordination with category teams and stakeholders
- Execute purchasing activities meeting specs, price, delivery, and contractual terms
- Manage a portfolio of approved suppliers, monitor performance and compliance
- Provide market insights, evaluate bids, and negotiate agreements with key suppliers
- Ensure sourcing events use appropriate eSourcing tools and maintain supplier master data integrity




- Identify and qualify new suppliers with internal partners to support needs and competitiveness
- Lead cost-out programs and process optimization to meet financial targets
- Coordinate procurement orders and deliveries and maintain accurate reports and documentation within systems

Requisiti fondamentali

- 5 years of procurement experience, preferably indirect services or equivalent HR/Consulting/Marketing category experience
- Strong negotiation, analytical mindset, and solution orientation
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management across seniority levels
- Team player with ability to work independently
- Comfort with legal/contractual terms and language
- Fluency in written and spoken English
- Proactive team contribution and adaptability
