Overview

In this Associate role within the Italian Industrial Practice, you support senior leadership searches across sectors, helping to build diverse candidate slates and contribute to a global, cross-functional team. You will combine project management, research, assessment, sourcing, and relationship-building to deliver high-value outcomes for clients. The role offers exposure to C-level executives and board-level conversations, with focus on industry specialization and local-market development. This is a hands-on, collaborative position with a clear path to deeper candidate-market expertise and leadership within the team.

Retribuzione / Benefits

- base compensation 40,000–60,000 per year

Responsabilità

- Contribute to the start-up phase of searches by aiding in position specs, search strategy, and target company lists
- Gather industry and target company information; identify prospects and discuss opportunities with executives
- Validate candidates through reference and source checks
- Partner with Consultants to present a slate of qualified candidates and support on-market insights
- Prepare position specs, candidate presentations, and assessment reports aligned with the firm's methodology




- Maintain clear communication within the team and with executives about search progress and developments
- Organize client progress reports/meetings and provide informed perspectives on candidate fit
- Monitor industry developments and keep the team updated on marketplace changes
- Contribute to expanding the candidate pool and maintain up-to-date assignment and company data in the firm database
- Support business development efforts and internal practice initiatives

Requisiti fondamentali

- 3+ years of progressive experience in executive search, recruiting, or related consulting environment
- Domain expertise in an industry or functional area is a plus
- Strong project management and client-service orientation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Undergraduate degree required; postgraduate degree a plus
- Fluent in Italian and English; international experience is a plus
- Willingness to work across geographies and build deep candidate pool knowledge
