Overview
In this role you will lead COMAS’s procurement function, shaping strategy, and ensuring competitive, reliable supply. You’ll manage a five-person team and own end-to-end procurement, from supplier qualification to negotiations, with a focus on cost savings and supplier performance. You’ll collaborate with internal stakeholders to meet cost, quality, and service objectives while upholding ESG requirements. This is a chance to influence strategic sourcing in a global manufacturing setting and contribute to sustainable growth.

Responsabilità
- Oversee procurement activities, supplier sourcing and negotiations for materials, components, equipment and services
- Coordinate and develop the procurement team, ensuring tasks are allocated appropriately and departmental objectives are met
- Implement departmental procedures and carry out procurement activities and related administrative tasks effectively and on time
- Manage financial and contractual negotiations with strategic national and international suppliers and liaise with suppliers to ensure delivery deadlines are met
- Support company departments in gathering tenders and quotations for cost analysis and project development
- Monitor supplier performance using KPIs (quality, punctuality, competitiveness, service)
- Promote improvement plans with suppliers and manage supply chain issues
- Prepare and manage purchase orders and related documentation in accordance with company procedures and policies
- Ensure compliance with company processes, group policies and ESG requirements applicable to the supply chain
Requisiti fondamentali
- A degree in Economics, Supply Chain Management or equivalent disciplines
- At least 10 years’ experience in purchasing or procurement coordination roles
- Experience in managing and coordinating teams
- Knowledge of logistics and production processes, with experience in purchasing both commercial components and parts manufactured to technical drawings
- Experience in negotiating framework contracts and medium- to long-term commercial agreements
- Excellent command of English
- Good negotiation skills and the ability to manage relationships with national and international suppliers
- Excellent command of Microsoft Office
- Experience using SAP
- Knowledge of data analysis tools and KPI monitoring
