Overview

In this role you lead end-to-end management of complex international industrial automation projects, delivering on scope, schedule, cost, and quality. You work closely with cross-functional teams to coordinate engineering, software, hardware, and commissioning, while interfacing with clients and partners. You will drive design and implementation of control systems (DCS, ESD, PLC, SCADA) and ensure adherence to contractual and regulatory requirements. This position combines technical depth with strategic project leadership to impact profitability and customer satisfaction on a global scale.

Responsabilità

- Manage complex international projects from kick-off to final delivery (engineering, procurement, commissioning)
- Plan, monitor, and control scope, schedule, costs, risks, and quality
- Lead cross-functional teams (engineering, software, hardware, commissioning, supply chain)
- Act as primary contact for international clients, stakeholders, and partners
- Oversee design and implementation of control systems (DCS, ESD, PLC, SCADA)
- Ensure compliance with technical, contractual, and regulatory requirements
- Manage change orders,



claims, and contractual aspects
- Organize and lead project review meetings (internal and customer-facing)
- Monitor KPIs and report to senior management
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks
- Coordinate FAT and SAT
- Supervise site activities, commissioning, and system start-up

Requisiti fondamentali

- Bachelor in Engineering
- Project Management certifications (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent) – preferred
- 8–10+ years of experience in project management within industrial automation
- Proven track record in managing international projects
- Solid technical background in control systems (DCS, ESD, PLC, SCADA)
- Experience with EPC or similar contract structures – preferred
- Strong knowledge of DCS/ESD platforms, PLC platforms, SCADA/HMI systems
- Understanding of Profinet, Modbus, Ethernet/IP
- Familiarity with IEC, ISA standards
- Proficiency in MS Project, Primavera, or similar
- Fluent Italian and English (C1/C2)
- Willingness to travel internationally (up to 20–30%)
