Overview

In this role you will shape and govern infrastructure configurations across product and project lifecycles. You’ll collaborate with engineering and product teams to translate inputs into robust templates and BOMs, enabling scalable, cost-competitive delivery. You’ll lead governance of core templates and drive continuous improvements within PLM-driven processes. This is a hands-on leadership role contributing to Baker Hughes’ digital transformation and operational excellence.

Responsabilità

- Collaborate with Systems Engineers, Design Engineers and Product Owners to translate inputs into infrastructure templates (BOM, QCP, engineering budgets)
- Own and govern QCP templates for Florence core products and the P&M; portfolio within TPS Teamcenter PLM
- Evaluate and integrate configuration rules to enable new products in Product Configurators
- Ensure accurate project BOMs and PDOCs across requisition and execution phases
- Establish and maintain infrastructure configuration baselines across lifecycle
- Lead analysis of feedback to identify gaps and drive template and governance improvements
- Drive continuous improvement across infrastructure definition processes, tools, and methodologies
- Lead change-management of engineering infrastructure templates and configuration processes




- Develop and maintain Work Instructions, Procedures and standards
- Support strategic projects modernizing infrastructure tools toward Model-Based Enterprise
- Provide progress updates to leadership on deployment and initiative status
- Develop action plans addressing technical, process, or execution issues
- Provide technical guidance to cross-functional teams and management
- Present at design and program reviews ensuring alignment with business needs
- Coordinate external providers implementing infrastructure solutions
- Collaborate across functions with systems-thinking and transparency

Requisiti fondamentali

- Master’s degree in Engineering or equivalent
- Solid knowledge of Baker Hughes products and systems (or ability to learn quickly)
- Hands-on experience with PLM systems and BOM management
- Experience in Systems Engineering and/or Configuration Management (preferred)
- Strong problem solving, risk management, and process improvement skills
- Ability to work autonomously and within cross-functional teams
- Resilience and adaptability to dynamic priorities
- Entrepreneurial mindset with openness to change
- Strong written and verbal English communication; leadership in conveying objectives
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Power Automate, Power BI)
