Overview

In this role you will design, build, and maintain automation solutions that power the business, acting as a key internal consultant across departments. You will translate complex, non-technical needs into secure, scalable automations, with a focus on critical systems like payments. The position is on-site in Genoa, offering high visibility and opportunities to drive efficiency and innovation. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to automate processes and improve daily operations.

Responsabilità

- Architect, develop, and maintain automation and integrations using Python, JavaScript, and SQL
- Lead automation for payment systems ensuring reliability, security, and accuracy
- Act as primary technical consultant for internal departments and map business processes for high-impact automation
- Manage full lifecycle of internal automation projects from requirements to deployment and enhancement




- Troubleshoot complex issues and serve as senior escalation point for software, hardware, and workflows
- Collaborate with remote engineers and local teams to maintain IT infrastructure
- Continuously research and propose new automation tools and technologies

Requisiti fondamentali

- 5+ years of experience in IT automation, systems integration, or senior scripting roles (DevOps, SRE)
- Expert proficiency in Python, JavaScript, and SQL
- Exceptional interpersonal and listening skills with ability to translate non-technical needs into technical specs
- Strong problem-solving and systems-thinking abilities
- Full professional fluency in Italian and English
- Willingness to work 100% on-site in Genoa
- Excellent English level
