Overview

As Sr. Manager Operations, you drive operational excellence across a complex metal-mechanical plant, ensuring safety, quality, cost, and delivery targets. You lead a diverse Operations team, shaping a high-performance culture aligned with AGCO’s strategy and values. You will implement Lean and continuous improvement across end-to-end manufacturing, balancing production realities with a strong safety and quality focus. This role offers the opportunity to influence large-scale manufacturing outcomes and collaborate with global stakeholders.

Responsabilità

- Lead and develop high-performing teams with a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and HSE standards and partner with Quality and HSE to drive improvements
- Oversee all plant operations to meet targets for volume, quality, cost, and delivery in a fast-changing environment
- Drive Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement using structured tools and data-driven problem solving
- Manage maintenance (TPM)



and maintain constructive relationships with the Workers Council in collaboration with HR

Requisiti fondamentali

- Extensive experience in industrial/manufacturing operations in complex metal-mechanical environments
- Strong knowledge of fabrication, welding, painting, and assembly processes; end-to-end production flow and capacity management
- Proven multi-level team leadership in fast-paced, high-pressure settings
- Experience with Italian labor laws and Workers Council relations
- Strong Lean, continuous improvement, and KPI-driven performance mindset
- Analytical and resilient with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills in multinational/matrix organizations; fluent Italian and advanced English
