Overview
As a field-based Medical Science Liaison, you will be the scientific bridge between IQVIA, investigators, and trial sites across Italy and a broader territory. You will support site engagement, education, and patient recruitment in oncology, delivering credible scientific presentations and resolving medical barriers. You’ll work with site management and KOLs to facilitate compliant, impactful scientific exchange and capture field insights to inform program strategy. This role combines deep oncology knowledge with cross-functional collaboration to advance trial success in a fast-paced, science-led environment.
Responsabilità
- Provide field-based medical support to oncology programs at clinical sites
- Deliver credible presentations on disease areas and investigational therapies to investigators and site staff
- Engage with trial sites to identify and address barriers to patient recruitment and screening
- Collaborate with site management and monitoring teams to support site initiation and ongoing engagement
- Facilitate compliant scientific exchange with healthcare professionals and KOLs
- Capture and report field intelligence (protocol feedback, treatment landscape, competitor activity)
- Represent the program at scientific meetings, advisory boards, and congresses
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of disease area, assets, and clinical data
- Ensure activities comply with laws, regulations, and company policies
Requisiti fondamentali
- Advanced scientific degree: MD, PhD, PharmD (strongly preferred)
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as an MSL or in a scientific/medical role
- Oncology experience, ideally in solid tumors
- Fluent in Italian and English; additional fluency in Greek, Turkish, or Hebrew is a plus
- Willingness to travel across the assigned territory
- Valid driver’s license
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Collaborative mindset and cross-functional teamwork
- Scientific credibility and balanced, evidence-based reasoning
- MSL experience in oncology
- Deep knowledge of oncology disease area and investigational therapies
- Ability to distill complex data for diverse audiences
