Overview
You will lead Quality Control at the Latina site to ensure robust product launches and lifecycle testing. In this role, you drive cross-functional collaboration, build trust with senior and shop-floor colleagues, and guide a 40-person team through transformational quality initiatives. The position balances daily lab leadership with strategic improvements, advancing compliance, data integrity, and patient safety. Responsabilità
- Lead daily laboratory operations for chemical and microbiological testing, environmental monitoring, and related analyses
- Represent Quality Control in cross-functional projects to ensure robust launch readiness and sustained product quality
- Drive lab readiness and product robustness for new product introductions (NPI)
- Manage stakeholder engagement with Quality, Operations, Engineering, and other functions to align priorities and risks
- Develop and execute strategic plans to strengthen laboratory capability, compliance, and long-term readiness
- Champion implementation of fit-for-purpose technologies, workflows, and procedures
- Coach and develop team members, fostering inclusion, accountability, and continuous learning
- Spend time on the shop floor to understand realities, remove barriers, and reinforce quality ownership
- Build trusted partnerships across local and global functions and translate perspectives into decisions
- Promote curiosity and constructive challenge to improve approaches
- Ensure GMP, data integrity, and regulatory compliance
- Monitor QC performance, resources, costs, and risks, delivering sustainable results within budget
Requisiti fondamentali
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Biology, or related field
- Pharmaceutical industry experience with people management
- Strong knowledge of QC, GMP, data integrity, and regulatory requirements
- Proven leadership under ambiguity and change
- Ability to coach, mentor, and develop talent and foster an inclusive learning culture
- Strong communication, listening, and stakeholder influence across functions and geographies
- Experience improving workflows and introducing innovative solutions for efficiency without compromising quality
- English fluent; Italian proficiency preferred
