Overview

Senior Accountant at Zeeco Italy supports the finance team with core accounting activities, focusing on the general ledger, payroll and T&E accounting, tax operations, and fixed assets. You will help ensure accurate, complete, and timely closes and contribute to a stable, evolving accounting environment in an international setting. Responsabilità

- General ledger and closing support, including journal entries, accruals, provisions, and balance sheet reconciliations; assist month-, quarter-, and year-end closings
- Payroll, T&E; & Tax operational accounting, including postings, reconciliations, and coordination with external providers
- Manage fixed assets accounting: capitalization, depreciation, disposals, reconciliations, and asset records




- Act as backup for AP/AR interfaces and ensure correct GL integration; perform subledger reconciliations and monitor suspense accounts
- Support internal and external audits with documentation and explanations for assigned areas
- Adapt and improve accounting practices; identify issues and address them with a pragmatic, solution-oriented approach
- Collaborate within the Finance team to ensure consistency, continuity, and reliability of accounting operations

Requisiti fondamentali

- Bachelor in Economics
- 6-10 years of experience in operational accounting, audits, or similar environments
- Strong GL accounting and close experience
- Experience with payroll, T&E;, tax postings/reconciliations, and fixed assets
- ERP experience (SAGE, SAP, Oracle, or similar) and strong Excel skills
- High attention to detail with structured execution
- Ability to work autonomously in a team-based, international environment
- Fluent English (minimum B2)
