Overview

In this role you will lead the Maintenance Operations and Excellence Team within EMEX to sustain world‑class manufacturing standards. You will drive maintenance excellence through cross‑functional collaboration, coaching, and structured problem‑solving, aiming to minimize downtime and optimize costs. You’ll align maintenance strategy with site goals and the Product Supply System framework, delivering value to products and customers. This position offers a meaningful impact on health outcomes by elevating maintenance capabilities at our Garbagnate Milanese site.

Responsabilità

- Lead and develop a diversified Maintenance Team to ensure available technical capabilities.
- Foster cross‑functional collaboration to drive improvement initiatives and pragmatic innovation.
- Coach and grow team members, ensuring effective stakeholder collaboration and value‑adding solutions.
- Articulate a clear vision for maintenance evolution toward world‑class standards, aligned with site strategy.
- Advance continuous technical improvement per PM methodology to reduce losses and downtime.
- Maximize equipment availability via preventive maintenance, root cause analysis, and prompt repairs.
- Design and evolve a robust maintenance framework with service standards, KPIs, and structured problem solving.




- Serve as main interface with global EMEX and local site stakeholders on maintenance initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, Environment, and Energy responsibilities as a role model.

Requisiti fondamentali

- Bachelor in Engineering or equivalent technical undergraduate degree
- 5+ years (or 7+) in maintenance leadership in complex manufacturing
- Proven experience leading diverse technical teams in manufacturing environments
- Strong leadership with Vision, Architecture, Coaching, and Catalyzing (VACC) and change management skills
- Practical experience implementing lean management in maintenance or technical settings
- Digital mindset with drive to improve processes, performance, and people
- Hands‑on experience with manufacturing and packaging tech (mechanics, electrical, automation, pneumatics); pharma/chemical/food/beverage/cosmetics experience considered a plus
- On‑site presence in Garbagnate Milanese; English fluent; Italian native
