The Role

We are looking for a highly motivated Intern to join FinX Capital, offering the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in financial analysis, financial modelling, Project Finance, Structured Finance and M&A.;

The internship is expected to start in January 2027.

You will work closely with an experienced team of financial professionals, supporting the analysis and execution of financial and investment transactions across the infrastructure sector.

The internship will provide exposure to the different stages of financial advisory and transaction execution, from the origination to financial modelling, due diligence, transaction structuring and execution.

Key Responsibilities

- Analyse the financial and operating performance of companies, infrastructure assets and investment projects.
- Support the preparation of business plans, financial forecasts and cash flow analyses.
- Perform financial statement analysis and reclassification.
- Develop, update and review financial models, including scenario and sensitivity analyses.
- Support the evaluation of investment opportunities and M&A; transactions.
- Support the analysis and structuring of Project Finance and Structured Finance transactions throughout the various stages of the process, including origination, term sheet, due diligence and execution.
- Support the preparation of financial analyses and materials for clients, investors and financing counterparties.
- Contribute to the analysis of debt structures and financing solutions.
- Support activities related to infrastructure, concession and Public-Private Partnership (PPP)



projects.
- Conduct market and sector analysis to support investment and financing decisions.
- Contribute to the preparation of presentations, financial analyses and transaction materials.

About You

We are looking for a motivated candidate who is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, Management Engineering or a related field.

The ideal candidate has

- A strong interest in Project Finance, Corporate Finance, M&A; and Structured Finance.
- 0 to 2 years of previous work experience
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office suite.
- Proactivity, intellectual curiosity and a strong willingness to learn.
- Ability to work effectively in a team.
- Fluency in English.

Previous knowledge of financial modelling, Corporate Finance or Project Finance will be considered a plus.
