BU – Transcatheter Mitral & Tricuspid Therapies:

The Field Clinical Specialist for Transcatheter Mitral & Tricuspid Therapies will provide education on all aspects of the device, device handling, implantation and troubleshooting techniques related to equipment, tools and products required for implants. The candidate will join a fast-paced, dynamic team within Edwards’ Lifesciences, and the individual will play a pivotal role in the implementation of TTVR therapies. Candidate must be based in North Italy, preferably in Milan.

How you will make an impact

- Educate and train physicians, hospital personnel, and hospital staff on all aspects of technical matters related to products and procedures including imaging through conducting and/or coordinating one-on-one ad hoc training sessions and in-service structured education programs on one technology.

- Evaluation of pre- and post-procedural valvular regurgitation and pressure gradients to evaluate procedural outcome.

- Education of internal and external stakeholders on mitral- and tricuspid disease evaluation and screening for TMTT procedures.

- Evaluation of echocardiographic imaging (2D, 3D, Doppler, M-Mode, etc.) for the purposes of patient selection and procedure support.

- Other incidental duties.

EDUCATION SUPPORT

- Educate and train physicians and hospital personnel on technical aspects of the TMTT products and procedures and/or coordinating one-on-one ad hoc training sessions and in-service structured education programs.

What you will need:

- Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent in technical field

- 5 years of previous related medical device and/or clinical experience

- An effective candidate must have hands-on skills with proven ability to apply technical knowledge and judgment to complex anatomical implant procedures.

- Technical proficiency specific to echocardiography and interventional cardiology is strongly preferred.

- Proficiency in operating echocardiographic equipment (TEE, TTE, ICE) and analyzing echocardiographic images is strongly preferred.

- Strong aptitude for cardiac anatomy and physiology.

- Experience working in cardiac Cath lab and/or operation room

- Highly effective verbal and written communication skills are necessary - this position will require close collaboration with internal as well as external physician partners.





- Computer proficiency, especially MS Word, MS Excel, & MS PowerPoint is preferred

- Must be proactive and creative in identifying and solving problems.

- Requires a high-energy individual who has excellent teamwork and communication skills

- Enjoys working in a changing, fast paced environment

- Ability to exercise independent judgment and problem-solving.

- Up to 80% travel

- Language skills: Fluent English is a must have

For Italy, the base pay range for this position is 48 000 € to 68 000 € (highly experienced), in line with the applicable National Collective Agreement (CCNL Industria Chimico Farmaceutico).
