Overview In this role you will manage global sensory studies to support new Barilla products and assess product superiority. You will run expert tasting panels, analyze results with digital tools, and help shape global sensory guidelines. Your work connects sensory insights with product quality across Barilla brands and geographies. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate sensory data into actionable product improvements. Responsabilità

Manage sensory studies for Barilla products across brands and geographies, contributing to distinctive product and pack design. Integrate panel results with analytical measurements to understand consumer liking. Scout and implement new global sensory tools and methodologies aligned with business needs. Plan and manage sensory profiles and shelf-life tests ensuring alignment with specs and quality goals.



Organize and conduct expert panel tastings (three panels of 10) aligned with project timelines and data reliability. Supervise panel results using digital tools and prepare high-quality final reports. Provide ongoing training to expert panels and maintain panel motivation and efficiency. Serve as the key contact for EyeQuestion sensory software.

Requisiti fondamentali

Master’s degree in Food Science and Technology or related field At least 3 years of experience in Sensory Science or Consumer Science with hands-on panel management and statistical analyses Experience with EyeQuestion or equivalent sensory analysis software Knowledge of Power BI and LIMS is a plus Fluent in Italian and English; French a plus Strong teamwork and collaboration skills Strong presentation skills to communicate results and insights Experience correlating sensory data with analytical and physico-chemical data is preferred teamwork communication presentation EyeQuestion sensory analysis software statistical analyses
