Overview As a Project Engineer in Wood’s Projects business line, you support the engineering coordination of complex plant projects in chemical, petrochemical and energy sectors. You work with cross-functional teams to prepare key documents, review technical content with clients, and provide on-site technical support during erection. The role emphasizes international mobility, collaboration with Wood Global Execution Center, and delivering safe, compliant solutions. This is a platform to shape project execution and contribute to world-scale energy projects.

Prepare multidisciplinary documents coordinating multiple technical disciplines Support Senior Project Engineer or Engineering Manager in engineering coordination Attend client project reviews (P&ID;, HAZOP, 3D model reviews)



and capture client comments Provide technical assistance on construction site during plant erection Coordinate with other project engineers (including Wood Global Execution Center in India) Prepare equipment, line, fluid, and tie-in lists Prepare material requisitions and coordinate with vendors Develop Hazardous Area Classification and Fire Hazardous Area analyses Contribute to project reviews with Client and field construction activities

Requisiti fondamentali

Degree in Mechanical, Chemical or Energy Engineering 2-3 years proven experience in a similar role Self-motivated, proactive and good communication skills Ability to technically coordinate with other disciplines and lead medium/large engineering teams Fluent in English and Italian Availability to relocate abroad Experience with P&ID; development/mechanization/updating and basic design to construction workflow is desirable Construction site experience is desirable Knowledge of additional languages (French or German) is an advantage strong communication proactive/dynamic mindset team coordination P&ID; development and mechanization Hazardous Area Classification Fire Hazardous Area analysis
