Transaction & Search Fund Intern
BE-COME | Milan | Six months | Starting late September 2026
We’re looking for a Transaction & Search Fund Intern who combines analytical curiosity with strong execution: someone who takes ownership of tasks, checks the details and follows through.
Working directly with BE-COME’s founders, you’ll support investment and fundraising processes through investor research, investment memos, due diligence and legal documentation.
What you’ll do
• Research investors, prepare and circulate approved investor lists, and keep databases and pipelines up to date.
• Draft investment memos and progress reports supporting Search Fund activities.
• Build and maintain data rooms, track due diligence requests and follow up on missing information.
• Prepare meeting notes and monitor actions, responsibilities and deadlines.
• Assist with straightforward drafting and review of NDAs and meeting minutes, using templates and senior guidance.
• Read term sheets and letters of intent, summarising key terms and questions for review.
Who you are
You enjoy bringing structure to work and following it through to completion. You write clearly, check details and flag missing information or delays early. You are comfortable with the routine updates that keep a transaction moving.
A strong interest in the legal side of transactions is essential.
You may be studying or have recently completed a degree in Finance, Economics, Management, Law or Law & Business. MBA and relevant postgraduate candidates are welcome.
You should be comfortable with Excel, PowerPoint and Word and have strong written and spoken Italian and English. Previous experience in every activity listed is not required; reliability, care and a willingness to learn are essential.
How we work
We are building a culture inspired by Ray Dalio’s Principles, with honest feedback, respectful discussion and shared learning. We value independent thinking and people who help the whole team improve.
You’ll work independently on agreed tasks, with direct guidance and regular feedback. As you demonstrate capability and sound judgement, you’ll have the opportunity to grow quickly in responsibility.
Where: Milan
Term: Six months, starting late September 2026
Compensation: Internship allowance based on experience
How to apply
Apply through LinkedIn with your CV and a short note explaining why this role interests you. Include one example of a task or project you organised and followed through to completion, and confirm your availability.
