Overview
In this role, you join the Milan Design Center to design MEMS structures and assess their mechanical and electrical behavior. You will run simulations to optimize accelerometer-related designs and develop algorithms for design optimization and improved simulation methods. You will work in a cross-functional engineering team, coordinating design and simulation tasks with project management and technology development. This is a hands-on, research‑driven position that shapes high‑precision inertial MEMS solutions within Bosch Sensortec.

Responsabilità
- Design MEMS structures based on customer requirements with attention to mechanical and electrical performance
- Perform model-based design using dedicated simulations to optimize MEMS structures (accelerometers)
- Develop new algorithms for design optimization and enhance simulation methods
- Collaborate in a cross-functional team,
leading internal activities or work packages in design projects
- Coordinate design and simulation tasks and work closely with project management and technology development
Requisiti fondamentali
- Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering or PhD in related fields
- Fluent English (B2 minimum); German a plus
- Proficient coder with experience in MATLAB/Python; familiarity with Finite Element Simulation tools
- Experience with Simulink and AI methods is preferred
- Autonomous, self-organized work style; structured concept development for simulations and algorithms
- Specialist in MEMS design and model development for inertial MEMS sensors (FEM, Matlab) with 3–5 years in cross-functional teams
- Experience designing and conducting lab experiments
