Overview
In this role you will drive the introduction of AI and advanced robotics in ITT’s manufacturing plants, steering a smart factory transition. You will collaborate with HQ and partners to scout use cases and lead implementation of robotics, AI vision, and predictive maintenance. You’ll industrialize prototypes into scalable solutions, supporting adoption across operations. The position emphasizes capability building, governance, and data-driven optimization to improve quality, productivity, safety, and ROI.

Responsabilità
- Define the AI and robotics adoption roadmap for industrial processes and identify high-impact use cases
- Lead projects on advanced robotics (cobots, AMRs, automated assistants) and AI-based vision for quality control
- Develop ML models for predictive maintenance and process optimization
- Translate prototypes/POCs into scalable production solutions and support manufacturing adoption
- Establish governance, standards, and best practices; collaborate with IT/Data teams for data management and infra
- Collaborate with HQ and technology partners for scouting, experimentation, and capability building
Requisiti fondamentali
- Degree in Engineering (Mechatronics, Automation, Robotics, Computer Science, AI)
- 5–10 years of experience in advanced industrial automation, AI/ML in manufacturing and robotics
- Robot programming skills (ROS, Python, C++)
- AI/ML expertise (predictive modeling, computer vision, deep learning)
- Experience with industrial automation systems (PLC, MES, IoT)
- Knowledge of smart factory / Industry 4.0 concepts
- Ability to influence stakeholders and drive execution with an entrepreneurial mindset
