Overview

In this Pre-Sales Solution Engineer role, you partner with sales to align Informatica’s solutions with customer visions and drive technical qualification and demonstrations. You work closely with cross-functional teams to refine product positioning, deliver compelling demos and workshops, and translate technical value into business outcomes. You act as a trusted advisor, bridging technology with customer needs during the sales cycle. This role supports enterprise customers in Italy, contributing to Salesforce’s data-centric AI transformation and customer success goals.

Responsabilità

- Lead pre-delivery activities for customer demos, including discovery, qualification, and presentations
- Respond to RFIs/RFPs with technical insight and value propositions
- Manage customer engagements and opportunities with minimal support for assigned accounts
- Collaborate with Data Foundations, Product Management, Engineering, and Product Marketing to improve product positioning and marketing outcomes
- Share best practices and maintain up-to-date certification requirements
- Partner with Customer Success for adoption support and technical advisory activities




- Provide product direction feedback and support executive-level events and demos

Requisiti fondamentali

- 5+ years of presales/technical sales, industry, or consulting experience
- Bachelor in Computer Engineering or related field
- Basic knowledge of hybrid deployment, data warehousing, databases, and BI concepts
- Strong communication skills for presentations and storytelling
- Experience engaging with influencers, coaches, decision makers, and partners
- Ability to travel up to 50% and work flexible hours
- Experience in data integration, MDM, or data governance is highly preferred
- Cloud ecosystem knowledge (Snowflake, Databricks, AWS, Azure) is preferred
- Basic knowledge of cloud security is desirable
- English and Italian language proficiency
- Degree or equivalent experience
