In this role at the Milan Design Center, you will shape MEMS structures for consumer electronics by modeling mechanical and electrical behavior to meet customer requirements. You will run model-based simulations focused on gyroscopes and drive design optimization with new algorithms. Responsabilità
- Design the mechanical and electrical behavior of new MEMS structures based on customer requirements
- Perform model-based simulations to optimize MEMS structures with emphasis on gyroscopes
- Develop algorithms for design optimization and improve simulation methods
- Collaborate in a cross-functional engineering team and analyze cause-and-effect in designs
- Coordinate design and simulation tasks with project management and technology development
Requisiti fondamentali
- Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
- Fluent English (minimum B2); German a plus
- Proficient coder with experience in MATLAB and Python
- Experience with finite element methods and simulation tools; Simulink skills preferred
- 3–5 years in MEMS design and model development for inertial MEMS sensors (FEM, Matlab)
- Experience in cross-functional teams (ASIC, package) and conducting lab experiments
- Autonomous, structured approach to concept development and simulations; strong presentation skills
