Overview

In this role you will coordinate domestic and international road freight, planning with approved carriers to move shipments from origin to destination. You will monitor status, address issues, and ensure timely booking, dispatch, and delivery while maintaining accurate records. As the primary contact for customers, you provide updates, handle inquiries, and ensure compliance with regulations and company policies. You will collaborate with transport providers, verify documents, and support cost control and billing to sustain profitability. This role shapes the efficiency and reliability of land freight operations across our logistics network.

Responsabilità

- Coordinate domestic and international road freight shipments from origin to destination
- Plan and arrange transportation with approved carriers and vendors
- Monitor shipment status and proactively address operational issues or delays
- Ensure timely booking, dispatch, and delivery of customer shipments
- Maintain accurate shipment records and operational documentation
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers regarding land freight shipments




- Provide shipment updates and transportation status reports
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries, concerns, and service requests
- Coordinate with transport providers and subcontractors to secure capacity
- Monitor carrier performance, service levels, and compliance requirements
- Prepare and verify transport documents, delivery orders, customs-related documents, and shipment records
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, customs requirements, and company policies
- Maintain accurate data within operational systems and transport management platforms
- Ensure adherence to safety, security, and quality standards
- Verify transportation costs and supplier invoices
- Support quotation preparation and pricing activities when required
- Monitor shipment profitability and identify cost-saving opportunities
- Ensure timely billing and revenue recognition procedures are completed
