Overview

As a Senior Project Manager in the Milan area, you drive project cost, schedule, and vendor management on construction projects. You coordinate with general contractors and consultants, analyze milestone risks, and review costing related to capex. You lead client meetings, monitor cost drivers, and ensure accurate cost reporting and invoicing.

You advocate for the client in disputes and oversee project close-out through to operation handover. You will work with cross-functional teams to deliver complex projects on time and within budget.

Responsabilità

- Manage overall project cost, schedule and budgets
- Coordinate General Contractor and other contracted vendors and consultants
- Analyze and manage critical milestone activities to avoid schedule slip
- Review construction proposals and related pricing/scopes
- Review, correct and assess work-in-place; approve capex spends
- Review and approve cost loaded schedules
- Lead client and other required meetings
- Identify factors influencing construction costs and report on them
- Review,



validate and audit cost estimates
- Support engineering decisions during design-build changes
- Review payment requests and invoices
- Track equipment against project schedule
- Record occurrences that might result in a claim; act on the client’s behalf
- Advocate for the client in disputes or change orders
- Coordinate scheduling consultant reviews
- Oversee final invoices, payment applications and retention payments
- Manage transfer of building operations to the client including close-out documentation and warranties

Requisiti fondamentali

- Business level Italian and English
- University degree in Construction Management or related field
- Experience as a Construction Project Manager in the real estate sector
- Advanced skills with spreadsheets, report writing and presentations
- Strong communication, organization, and multitasking abilities
- Team attitude, self-motivated, willing to support other groups/projects
