Overview

In this role you drive the Electronics sourcing strategy and build a resilient supplier base to support growth and new product introductions. You will collaborate with R&D, Industrialization, Quality, Production and Supply Chain to ensure supplier readiness, cost competitiveness and component availability. You will lead supplier development and lifecycle management while identifying risks and opportunities to optimize performance. This role combines strategic sourcing with hands-on supplier collaboration in a tech-driven electronics context, offering meaningful impact on product roadmaps and operations.

Responsabilità

- Define and implement electronics sourcing strategies
- Develop and manage suppliers for components, PCB assemblies, EMS providers, power electronics, sensors and connectivity
- Drive supplier development focusing on quality, capacity, and delivery performance
- Support NPI by ensuring supplier readiness and industrial feasibility
- Collaborate with R&D;, Industrialization and Quality to evaluate technical solutions and supplier capabilities
- Identify and implement cost reduction through should-cost analysis,



VE and supplier collaboration
- Support lifecycle management including EOL monitoring and continuity planning
- Lead supplier performance reviews and development plans for strategic electronics suppliers
- Identify technologies, suppliers and market trends relevant to future roadmaps
- Analyze sourcing data independently to provide optimization and risk mitigation insights
- Support digitalization and continuous improvement within Sourcing

Requisiti fondamentali

- Minimum 5 years in electronics sourcing, supplier development, technical procurement or supplier quality in manufacturing environments
- Strong knowledge of electronic components, PCB assemblies, EMS suppliers and electronics manufacturing processes
- Experience supporting NPI, industrialization and supplier qualification
- Knowledge of cost engineering, value engineering and supply chain risk management
- Good knowledge of ERP systems, preferably SAP MM
- Experience with Power BI, advanced Excel and data-driven decision making
- Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills
- Fluent in Italian and English
