Workday Configuration Specialist The challenge An exciting opportunity has arisen to contribute to Haier Europe. What you will do The Workday Configuration Specialist will be responsible for the design, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of our Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) system, ensuring optimal functionality and alignment with business needs.
Job Responsibilities
- Configure and maintain Workday modules, including but not limited to Core HCM, Absence, Benefits, Compensation, Talent, and Recruiting, based on business requirements and best practices.
- Translate business needs into technical requirements and configure Workday to support various HR processes and initiatives.
- Collaborate with HR, IT, and other stakeholders to gather requirements, design solutions, and implement new functionalities or enhancements.
- Perform unit and system testing of new configurations and integrations to ensure accuracy and data integrity.
- Develop and maintain documentation for Workday configurations, processes, and integrations.
- Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for Workday related issues, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with Workday releases and new features, assessing their impact and potential benefits for the organization.
- Participate in Workday projects, including upgrades, new module implementations, and system optimizations.
- Assist in training end-users on Workday functionality and new processes.
- Ensure data privacy and security compliance within the Workday system.
What you need to succeed Education: Degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Analytics, or a related field.
Previous Experience: Proven experience (2+ years) in an HR analytics, HRIS, or similar digital HR role in a multinational company.
Skills:
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and translate them into actionable insights.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors) and experience with system implementation or optimization.
- Previous experience with Time&Absences; module
- Familiarity with HR processes and data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Minimum Salary: 40.000 eur Full-time
