ppbSalary: /b Up to €85,000 + Package /p pbSector: /b Data Centres / Critical Infrastructure /p pbEmployment: /b Permanent /p pWe're working with a leading engineering contractor delivering a major data centre project in Milan, and they're looking to appoint an experienced Senior BMS Engineer to take ownership of the technical delivery. /p pThis is a hands-on senior role for someone who can take a functional specification, coordinate the engineering and subcontractors, and make sure the finished BMS system works exactly as intended. /p h3The Role /h3 pYou'll take ownership of Tier 2 engineering and design submittals, including: /p ul liI/O and data point lists /li liEquipment schedules and schematics /li liDevice and wiring layouts /li liPanel design and interlocks /li liFunctional specifications /li liDemonstration and acceptance documentation /li liOM documentation /li /ul pYou'll ensure mechanical equipment submittals meet project requirements and translate functional specifications into fully operational BMS systems. /p pYou'll also be involved in off-site testing, change control and design coordination, ensuring changes are properly recorded and auditable throughout the project. /p h3During Construction /h3 pYou'll have responsibility for coordinating the BMS subcontractor and supporting the wider project team, including: /p ul liManaging the subcontractor team on a day-to-day basis /li liMonitoring programme, deliveries,



engineering issues and quality /li liSupporting site safety and training requirements /li liAttending technical and progress meetings /li liParticipating in W1, W2 and W3 site walkdowns /li liCoordinating engineering issues with the wider construction team /li /ul pAs the project progresses towards completion, you'll support the full testing, commissioning and handover process, including: /p ul liEnsuring testing and commissioning follows the project Quality Plan /li liCertifying live BMS systems ahead of handover /li liDemonstrating systems to the client and relevant stakeholders /li liDelivering OM manuals and record drawings /li liSupporting demobilisation and final handover /li liProducing project close-out documentation /li /ul h3What We're Looking For /h3 pWe're looking for an experienced BMS Engineer operating at Senior level, ideally with a background in: /p ul liCritical infrastructure /li liLarge-scale commercial or industrial projects /li /ul pYou should be technically strong, comfortable working autonomously and experienced in coordinating BMS engineering, design and specialist subcontractors. /p pThe ideal candidate will be someone who can take ownership rather than waiting to be told what to do - with strong attention to detail and a genuine understanding of how BMS systems need to operate within complex mechanical and electrical environments. /p h3Additional Information /h3 pConsideration will be given to candidates belonging to protected categories under Italian Law 68/99. /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
