Overview

As a Staff Test Engineer in Infineon’s R&D team, you will develop and support automotive-related test activities in the semiconductor domain. You will align test methodologies, create embedded test software, and streamline test packages to reduce time and cost. You’ll collaborate with design, verification, production, and technology engineers to solve complex testing challenges. The role combines hands-on testing with data-driven decision support in a high-tech, international environment. Responsabilità

- Align on test methodologies and drive key testing activities with the team
- Develop embedded software for testing and translate concepts into efficient algorithms
- Generate and debug test sequences and automated test equipment patterns on Advantest V93000
- Identify and implement test package improvements to reduce test time and cost




- Provide data analysis to optimize test costs and support decisions
- Collaborate closely with concept, design, verification, characterization, production and technology engineers

Requisiti fondamentali

- Master’s degree in a relevant field
- At least 3 years of experience as a Test Engineer in a technical environment
- Strong multitasking and structured problem-solving abilities
- Experience in embedded programming (C)
- Knowledge of scripting languages (Perl, Python) for automation and analysis
- Experience with automated test equipment (Advantest V93000 and SmartTest 8) and knowledge of NVM architecture
- Fluency in English (mandatory)
