Overview
In this role you act as a compliance advisor for the Italian entity, ensuring adherence to European and Italian banking and insurance rules (IDD). You collaborate with the CMLRO and the regulatory team to monitor the business and support second-line controls. You will draft guidance, advise management, and participate in regulatory initiatives to strengthen compliance processes. The position offers impact in shaping compliance across a cross-border wealth management operation.

Responsabilità
- Ensure compliance with banking and securities laws, regulations, and internal policies, especially insurance-related rules (IDD)
- Support the CMLRO and Head of Products & Services Compliance in regulator relationships and reporting
- Provide regulatory advisory services to BJBE management and the business
- Draft/review compliance guidance and internal policies/procedures
- Participate in regulatory initiatives and enhancements of processes
- Update BJBE management on relevant regulatory changes
- Contribute as regulatory advisor in new business activities




- Implement and maintain global standards within BJBE considering local laws
- Analyze local activities to assess compliance risk and conduct risk-based controls
- Provide management assurance through testing and regular/ad-hoc reporting

Requisiti fondamentali
- Master's degree in Economics, Finance or Legal
- At least 3 years of relevant European financial industry experience (audit, banking)
- Strong knowledge of European financial laws and regulations, especially IDD
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Fluent in English and Italian (additional languages an asset)
- Detail-oriented with high readiness of mind
- Ability to work under pressure, autonomously and in a team
- Ability to communicate with diverse cultural backgrounds
- Experience dealing with regulators and regulatory requests
- Project management experience (leader or team member)
