You can either work bfully remotely from anywhere in Italy /b or follow a bhybrid working model, combining remote work with regular presence in our Turin or Milan office (60% onsite / 40% remote). /b /p pbIn this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: /b /p ul liYou will use thermal and fluid sciences to evaluate system and component performance, helping guide technical decisions that support advanced, efficient, and environmentally responsible products. /li liYou will develop and apply 3D CFD combustion models and simulation workflows for current and future compression ignition and spark ignition engine technologies. /li liYou will combine high-fidelity 3D CFD with 1D system-level modelling to assess combustion system architectures and support design optimization. /li liYou will perform in-cylinder combustion and conjugate heat transfer analysis to improve the performance and durability of critical engine power-cylinder components. /li liYou will investigate thermal-fluid product or technology issues, identify root causes, recommend corrective actions, and document results to support problem resolution. /li liYou will contribute to platform engineering development programs by helping fulfil open-cycle and closed-cycle combustion simulation requirements. /li liYou will strengthen analysis-led product development by improving modelling, simulation, testing, and data-analysis processes. /li liYou will collaborate with engineers, technical leaders, project teams, suppliers, and other stakeholders to deliver clear recommendations that support high-quality project decisions. /li /ul pbTo be successful in this role you will need the following: /b /p ul liStrong technical fundamentals in thermodynamics, combustion, fluid dynamics, heat transfer,



engine performance, and energy conversion systems. /li liPractical experience using modelling and simulation tools such as CONVERGE, Chemkin, GT-Suite, Fluent, Boost, or similar thermal-fluid analysis platforms. /li liStrong data analysis and visualization skills using tools such as MATLAB, Python, Tecplot, Ensight, Paraview, or equivalent software. /li liEffective collaboration, communication, problem-solving, documentation, and decision-making skills to work across teams and support project execution. /li /ul pbEducation/ Experience: /b /p ul liBachelor's degree in Engineering or an appropriate STEM field is required. /li liMaster's degree or PhD in Mechanical Engineering or a related thermal-fluid discipline is preferred or may be required for select roles. /li liMinimum of 2 years of academic experience in in-cylinder 3D combustion CFD analysis is preferred. /li liExperience with diesel combustion system architecture analysis is strongly preferred. /li liInternship, co-op, extracurricular technical project, or early-career professional experience in a relevant engineering discipline is preferred. /li liKnowledge of Microsoft Office tools and familiarity with technical documentation, requirements engineering, and product development processes will support success in the role. /li /ul pSi prega di notare che la fascia retributiva indicata rappresenta un riferimento applicabile a questa posizione.
