ph3Role Description /h3 pWe are looking for a /p pWe are looking for a RAMS / Diagnostic Engineer to join an engineering team working on the development and validation of diagnostic capabilities for complex radar systems in the defense domain. The candidate will contribute to the definition, implementation and verification of system diagnostic functions, with a strong focus on reliability analysis, failure management and system-level diagnostics. The role is highly cross-functional and requires interaction with system, hardware and software teams to ensure robust diagnostic design and effective mitigation of system failures. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liContribute to the design and development of system diagnostics and Built-In Test (BIT) capabilities for radar systems; /li liDefine and manage FMECA analyses, ensuring their integration into the diagnostic design process; /li liSupport failure identification, analysis and mitigation strategies; /li liCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams to define diagnostic requirements and telemetry aimed at minimizing system failures; /li liPerform Verification Validation (VV) activities related to diagnostic functions; /li liAnalyze telemetry data, logs and system outputs to identify anomalies and validate diagnostic performance; /li liSupport system integration and testing activities, ensuring alignment with reliability and diagnostic requirements; /li /ul h3Required Skills /h3 ul liat least 3 years of experience in RAMS / Reliability / System Engineering within defense,
aerospace or mission-critical systems; /li liStrong experience with FMECA analysis and its application to system design; /li liGood knowledge of MATLAB / Simulink for data analysis and system evaluation; /li liExperience in failure analysis, fault detection and system diagnostics; /li liExperience working with requirements management tools (e.g. DOORS); /li liKnowledge of IEC 61508 or other functional safety standards; /li liAbility to work in complex, multidisciplinary environments; /li liGood command of English (spoken and written) /li /ul h3Nice to Have /h3 ul liFamiliarity with CAMEO / MBSE tools; /li liExperience in radar systems, electronic warfare or advanced sensor systems; /li /ul h3Education /h3 pMSc or BSc in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Aerospace Engineering or related field /p pAs a leading technology partner in the automotive, aerospace and mechanical engineering sectors, Bertrandt focuses on the trends of digitalization, autonomous systems, connectivity and electric mobility.
