Purpose of Position

The Manager, Courseware Platform Development leads the technical and product team responsible for building, enhancing, and operating the platforms that support training content development, delivery, and lifecycle management. This role extends the core responsibilities of the Manager, IT by focusing specifically on application development, platform engineering, and product enablement for Courseware Technology.



The ideal candidate combines strong engineering leadership with product-minded thinking to ensure our courseware platforms are scalable, innovative, and aligned with business needs.

Tasks and Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Management

• Lead technical and product team members in creating platform capabilities and tools that enable development and delivery of training content.
• Manage day-to-day operational and tactical activities, ensuring timely and high-quality execution aligned with departmental KPIs.
• Provide regular performance management, coaching, and feedback; address performance issues and build corrective action plans when needed.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to ensure platform priorities reflect business needs and are clearly communicated.

Platform Development & Operations

• Own the development lifecycle of courseware platforms, from ideation through delivery, maintenance, and continuous improvement.
