Posizione

The Repair engineer ensures technical support to the Hot Gas Path parts refurbishment process for gas turbines, including combustors, blades, and vanes.

- Support the repair shops and the departments involved in all the production phases, from the inspection and evaluation of the incoming components (e.g. visual, dimensional testing, NDT) through their repair (e.g. brazing, welding, machining) and special processes, according to internal procedures and engineering instructions.
- Guarantee the capitalization of the experience gained from the fleets, about the results from the operation of the Hot Gas Path Part and the refurbishment techniques,



in the frame of continuous improvement and to support the Company development programs

Requisiti
- Bachelor’s Degree in mechanical engineering or material engineering
- Knowledge of materials, welding processes and non destructive testing main methodologies
- International Welding Engineer (IWE), NDT qualifications and technical background in nickel based superalloy and ceramic materials are nice to have.
- Good level of English language
- Be prepared to do frequent short travels to repair centers or power plants globally
- Attitude to work proactively in international teams belonging to several engineering departments across the company
