OverviewIn this role at the Milan Design Center, you will shape MEMS structures for consumer electronics by modeling mechanical and electrical behavior to meet customer requirements.
You will run model-based simulations focused on gyroscopes and drive design optimization with new algorithms.
You'll operate within a cross-functional engineering team, coordinating design and simulation tasks with project management and technology development.

ResponsabilitàDesign the mechanical and electrical behavior of new MEMS structures based on customer requirements
Perform model-based simulations to optimize MEMS structures with emphasis on gyroscopes
Develop algorithms for design optimization and improve simulation methods
Collaborate in a cross-functional engineering team and analyze cause-and-effect in designs
Coordinate design and simulation tasks with project management and technology development
Requisiti fondamentaliMaster of Science in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
Fluent English (minimum B2); German a plus
Proficient coder with experience in MATLAB and Python
Experience with finite element methods and simulation tools; Simulink skills preferred
3–5 years in MEMS design and model development for inertial MEMS sensors (FEM, Matlab)
Experience in cross-functional teams (ASIC, package) and conducting lab experiments
Autonomous, structured approach to concept development and simulations; strong presentation skills
