OverviewAs a Validation & Verification Engineer at Hitachi Rail, you will drive laboratory testing and verification of railway signalling logic within the IXL SubSystem.
You will collaborate across multifunctional teams to plan, execute, and document validation activities in a fast-paced environment, ensuring compliance with standards and project requirements.
You will shape testing methodologies, troubleshoot issues, and report findings to support delivery of reliable rail solutions.
This role offers exposure to international projects and a hands-on path to impact railway signaling validation and performance.
ResponsabilitàDevelop and execute laboratory tests in a simulated environment
Analyze and verify railway signalling logics for IXL SubSystem (cover analysis, static analysis)
Support Validation team in defining, organizing and executing validation activities for projects
Assist Signaling Validation activities
Conduct testing and validation in compliance with company standards, contract requirements, project schedule, approved test procedures, quality,
safety and environmental objectives per CENELEC standards
Create and issue test documentation and reports
Manage configuration of documentation and software in the laboratory
Perform troubleshooting and resolution of system and subsystem issues
Requisiti fondamentaliBasic railway signalling knowledge
Proficiency in programming languages (C, C++, C#, Java, Python)
Experience with implementation engineering processes for testing and validation
Good knowledge of hardware and software systems
Structural analysis
Strong problem solving and critical thinking, with validation experience
Ability to work in multi-functional and international projects
