OverviewIn this role you will provide expert desktop research and data services to Bain's Milan teams, supporting consulting and practice groups with high?quality insights.
You will work closely with internal stakeholders to understand project needs, deliver accurate research outputs, and contribute to knowledge sharing and process improvements.
You will help build assets and support tool innovations, enabling faster, data-driven decision making.

ResponsabilitàConduct business research using desktop resources, databases, and research tools to support project teams and internal stakeholders
Clarify information needs with internal customers and deliver accurate, comprehensive research outputs
Support asset-building activities including processing orders, cataloging, and end-user system updates
Participate in knowledge sharing, training, and process improvements; potentially lead small initiatives
Provide just-in-time and group training for researchers and consulting teams
Coach less experienced colleagues and support research planning and execution
Contribute to industry teams, including TMT, with specialized and general research




Build relationships with internal stakeholders to gather feedback and resolve research questions
Apply local, regional, and global data sources effectively
Share research experience and contribute to product and service evaluations
Requisiti fondamentali3–5 years of experience conducting business research in a fast-paced environment (consulting, market research, professional services)
Experience using business research databases such as Factiva, LSEG/Refinitiv, S&P; Capital IQ
Strong knowledge across a broad range of commercial, multi-industry, and economic topics
Fluent in written and spoken English and native language
Highly organized with strong prioritization and time-management skills
Ability to work under pressure and deliver high-quality results
Experience working with diverse stakeholders and across cultures
Proactive in identifying efficiency improvements and embracing new technology
Training and presentation skills
Degree in Information Science, Business, or equivalent qualification
