OverviewIn this role you oversee the development of Train Control & Information Systems (TCIS) deliverables for a project, from offer through warranty.
You collaborate with a cross-functional core team to ensure architecture, quality and timely delivery.
You drive design choices, verification, and interface management across electrical, software and Schematic domains.
The position combines technical leadership with hands-on design support for manufacturing and commissioning in a global, inclusive environment.

ResponsabilitàAccountable for validating TCIS Development, Configuration, Validation and Management Plans
Ensure software quality and adherence to System Engineering and TCMS Software Quality Plan
Maintain quality across all project domains (Schematic, Apparatus, Software)
Manage design planning and Design/Verification reviews within the Design For Quality cycle
Deliver TCIS outputs (RSADs, Software specifications, FDD, Electrical Schemes, product definitions) within quality, cost and schedule commitments
Manage interfaces and follow-up of subsystems (electrical components, PACIS, CCTV, TCMS, Event recorder, Train Ground Communication, ATC/Safety equipment)
Standardize and maximize carry-over with previous projects
Support Industrial and Manufacturing areas during First Train Assembly and Commissioning/Validation
Requisiti fondamentaliItalian language required (TCMS LORE Platform docs available in Italian)
Experience as rolling stock functional engineer on multiple train functions, particularly high-speed trains
Experience with TCMS LORE Platform (NTV/ETR/PKP Trains)
Experience in work package and team management
Hands-on electrical and schematic design activity
Experience in model-based control system development using tools like Control Build, Matlab/Simulink, Matrix
Knowledge of network topologies and interfaces (Serial, Ethernet, MVB, WTB)
