OverviewAs Fraud Data Analyst, you will help secure real-time digital payments by designing and deploying decisioning logic that blends ML scores with velocity features.
You'll translate fraud patterns into high-impact rules and partner across teams to optimize the risk stack.
You'll hunt emerging fraud schemes and shape end-to-end mitigation while preserving a frictionless user experience.
This role combines data science input, product collaboration, and leadership-facing reporting to evolve risk appetite.

ResponsabilitàDesign and implement real-time decisioning logic using ML scores and velocity features
Develop and optimize high-performing fraud rules to balance false positives and fraud loss
Investigate and mitigate emerging fraud schemes (ATO, social engineering)
Collaborate with Product and Engineering to define analytical requirements and data signals for new features
Operationalize ML models with heuristic rules in the decisioning stack
Analyze security measures to minimize user friction while maintaining protection
Provide data-driven insights on rule efficacy and portfolio health to senior leadership
Requisiti fondamentali3–7 years of experience in risk, payments, or credit sectors
Strong SQL and Python skills for data analysis and strategy development
Solid understanding of payment fraud dynamics and real-time decisioning environments
Excellent communication skills and English fluency
Nice to have: experience with Machine Learning, Data Science, PySpark, or GraphQL knowledge
