OverviewAs Ground Operations Manager for OHB Italia's Satellites & Missions unit in Rome, you will oversee the ground segment to ensure reliable data flow between spacecraft and mission control.
You'll lead GOEs, coordinate with ground stations, and manage configuration and maintenance of ground systems within the IRIDE mission context.
Your role focuses on keeping telemetry, tracking and command paths robust under time-critical conditions, including LEOP involvement.
This is a key position shaping mission operations and data integrity across the Eaglet-2 constellation.
ResponsabilitàOversee ground network availability, configuration, and scheduling
Coordinate with ground stations and network service providers for link availability
Supervise the Ground Operations Engineers (GOEs)
Ensure data integrity across telemetry, tracking, and command (TT&C;) systems
Validate ground segment software updates and system maintenance activities
Manage configuration control of ground system elements (servers,



interfaces, databases)
Report on network performance metrics and outages
Requisiti fondamentaliMSc in Aerospace or Space, Telecommunication Engineering or other relevant studies
5+ years in ground operations with direct LEOP experience
Network and system administration experience
Knowledge of mission planning and flight dynamics systems
Strong TT&C;, ground networks, and mission control infrastructure knowledge
Familiarity with ground segment monitoring and telemetry handling
Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams under time-critical conditions
Advanced English and strong communication skills
