This role will focus on developing and strengthening trusted relationships with Public Sector organizations across Emilia-Romagna and North-Eastern Italy, while identifying and driving new business opportunities across the region. You will act as the account manager for public sector clients, guiding them through their cybersecurity transformation journey and promoting a security-first culture aligned with Fortinet’s values.The ideal candidate for this role will be based in Bologna.As a Regional Account Manager - Public Sector,



you will:Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve and exceed sales targetsDrive the adoption of Fortinet’s products and services across assigned public sector accounts, supporting long-term customer successBuild and maintain executive-level relationships with key decision-makers, influencers, and strategic partners within public administrationCoordinate internal teams to deliver customer-focused proposals, RFI/RFP responses, and statements of workPromote cybersecurity awareness and best practices in alignment with Italian and European regulationsServe as the lead contact responsible for the flow of information to and from executive managementMaximize Fortinet’s opportunity while delivering value-added solutions to assigned public sector customersMaintain an accurate and consistent pipeline and sales forecastCollaborate with internal stakeholders including partner channel managers, technical sales engineers, and consulting professionalsTravel within the assigned territory as required
