Citi Banking is looking for a 6-Month Placement Analyst to join the Investment Banking team in Milan start in January 2027. The Investment Banking group advises corporate clients who want to raise funds in capital markets and who need strategic support in financial transactions. Initiatives you may be working on with clients include mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, financial restructurings, underwriting, and distributing equity, debt, and derivative securities. During your internship period you will be placed with an Investment Banking team to work with for the duration of the internship and will be guided by senior analysts and associates on the skills required to become a successful analyst.
Conduct research and analyze industry trends related to business development.
Build financial models, assess valuation and explore corporate finance solutions for big-picture financial analyses.
Participate in client development, including coordinating data with clients and assisting in presentation of new ideas to client If you perform well during your time with the team, you may have the possibility to extend your internship for a further three months
You are available to start in January 2027




You are currently enrolled in a University that can provide an internship agreement
Have an interest in Investment Banking
You are fluent in English and Italian
i) graduation grade; (Commitment to personal growth and career development, a strong desire to learn, and success in team environments
Knowledge of the global or domestic business landscape is a plus, but not required
Strong communication, planning, and organizational skills
Desire to develop a deep understanding of the financial industry
